I best start with all things good and then end on a slightly sour note I am afraid!
I want to wish my gorgeous Sister Elise a very happy belated 21st birthday! We enjoyed a fab night out on Friday and even though I did not drink or stay out long, it was such fun to be with her! The theme was 'gangsters' and boy did everyone look good! I didnt get dressed up, I am far too huge for that, so I played the 'mob muma'

One huge 'mob muma'Right and now for the more serious note, I had an appointment at the midwife's yesterday and the good news is that the baby is the right way and I am 1/5 engaged.......woo hoo! I have been having period like pains and lots of cramping so I believe she is on her way!
The bad news is that I have raised blood pressure, protein in my urine and after some blood tests they believe I have pre-eclampsia. I am going to be very closely monitored with appointments of Wed, Sat and one with the consultant doctor on Monday. I am expecting to be put on bed rest so it looks like I will finish work early as I am not due to finish work until Friday, but of course mine and the baby's health is the most important thing!
Right so with that bombshell, I am off to have a relaxing soak in the bath and an early night. I will try and return emails asap but I dont expect to be online much in the next few weeks. Wish me lots of luck guys and please keep in touch! I will try and keep you all updated and I dont want anyone to worry! I dont 'do ill', so I know I am going to be just fine!

Don't worry you certainly will be fine & little missy is set to come sooner rather than later. I had protein in my urine the whole pregnancy resulting in diabetes which cleared up after the birth it is very common.
Take it easy & put yourself first.
My new job is going really well I love it & the people I work with.
ohhh girl you are in my prayers and thought and i know everything will go fine!! I cant wait to see her sweet little face! Just get lots of rest! Happy bday to ur sis and you looked fab!
First your sister looks amazing fantatstic photos!!!
Second, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!! If you feel you need more time off work then take it!!! I have know some women who have surffered from this but all they needed to do was take it easy and keep up with the appointments, they went on to have healthy beauitful babies!!!!

Ooooh, thinking of you girlie girl!! Take good care of yourself. Keep your feet up and rest. Try not to eat anything salty. I had high blood pressure towards the end too. WIll they put you on any meds for it? Wow, with the cramps and stuff maybe she will be showing up early! Thinking of you Micayla and praying for you!

I would recommend a trip to the pictures to see Momma Mia!!! But be warned you may need to wear a tena lady and baby might come halfway through the film!!!!
Just take good care and relax and you will both be fine!!They do a fantastic job of monitoring when pre-eclampia is suspected so at least you are in good hands!
